The film explores the lives of three central figures in the criminal life of New York from the 60′s and 70′s of last century. Henry Hill is a local boy who became a gangster in a neighborhood where most hardcore and violent criminals. Tommy DeVito is pure gangsta and best friend Henry. Jimmy Conway formed their band and together they make the biggest robbery and kidnapping, which the city has ever seen.
