Apparently, Phillips wasn't taking into account the difficulty he would have finding an actor to play the seemingly insignificant "tattoo artist" cameo role in The Hangover Part II. The role, which was initially going to be played by Academy Award-winner-turned-Hollywood pariah Mel Gibson and then went to Liam Neeson after complaints from members of the cast and crew, will now be played by actor, screenwriter and filmmaker Nick Cassavetes
